Joseph Ivimey's "A History of English Baptist's"; Covers from most ancient times until the 1660s. Written by Joseph Ivimey a minister that lived in the 1800s. It was my design in publishing this text to provide a larger Historical setting to the times in which the First and Second London Baptist Conferssions were constructed.
Valiant In Fight: A Review of The Christian Conflict by B.F.C Atkinson, under librarian at the University Library, Cambridge UK in the mid 1900s. This book was first a series of lectures to the leaders Conference of University Evangelical Unions held at Leeds in September, 1936. This book is a short church history written in the first half of the twentieth century. It is full of lessons to be learned and warnings against worldliness, lukewarmness and compromise.
